Prime Floyorker Choice Methodology

Prime Floyorker Choice (PFC Rankings) is Floyorker’s editorial championship system for New Yorkers living in South Florida. Rankings are earned through repeat field evaluation, comparative scoring, and standards enforcement across Palm Beach County and Broward County. Sponsorship, advertising, and affiliate relationships never influence rank.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Core Product Execution (40%)

    For pizza: crust structure, bake consistency, sauce balance, and slice integrity. For bagels: exterior sheen, crust snap, interior chew, and boil quality.

  • Service and Consistency (20%)

    Performance across multiple visits, including peak windows, wait-time handling, and order accuracy under pressure.

  • Standards Durability (20%)

    Whether quality holds across dayparts and over time, not only during ideal service windows.

  • Value Relative to Segment (10%)

    Price-to-quality relationship within a place’s operating segment, with no preference for luxury or low-cost positioning.

  • Editorial Distinction (10%)

    A place’s identifiable edge compared with top county peers, including signature strengths and repeatability.

Weighting Philosophy

PFC weighting favors execution and repeatability over novelty. A place can score lower on trend value and still rank highly if product and consistency remain elite.

Re-evaluation Cadence

County boards are reviewed continuously with formal board recalibration every quarter and targeted spot checks after ownership, menu, or operational shifts.

Eligibility Requirements

  • • Must operate as an active public-facing business in Palm Beach County or Broward County.
  • • Must be open often enough for repeat editorial verification.
  • • Must provide a stable product profile that can be re-tested across service windows.
  • • Must clear minimum quality thresholds before being considered for ranked placement.

Anti Pay-to-Play Policy

No place can buy rank, inclusion, or champion status. Paid media and sponsorship are fully separated from editorial scoring and selection decisions.

Update Policy

Ranking updates are published when material score movement is verified. Historical title records remain visible to preserve championship lineage and accountability.
